Horizons Engineering is looking for a New Hampshire Civil Designer who is also a Licensed Subsurface Disposal System Designer to join our team and provide high-quality services to our clients using state-of-the-art equipment. You will be working with a dedicated and diverse team of civil engineers, surveyors, and geologists on a variety of residential, commercial, institutional, energy, and commercial projects. A qualified candidate should have a sound working knowledge of the procedures and practices required in site evaluation with the ability to prepare and submit wastewater disposal and state subdivision plans to local and state agencies for subsurface wastewater system approvals and site plan approvals. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to become part of our team. The current position is to be located in one of Horizons’ New Hampshire locations and has the potential for continued growth and responsibilities for the right motivated person.

Job Responsibilities

  • Certificate/Licensed Subsurface Designer in New Hampshire;
  • Site Plan Design;
  • Ability to collect field data, Test Pit and Percolation Testing;
  • Strong AutoCAD Software Background;
  • Working under the direction of various project managers in a team environment;
  • Ability to meet deadlines while producing work with a high level of accuracy;
  • Strong problem‐solving skills, with the ability to communicate both orally and in written form to clients and co‐workers; and
  • Valid driver’s

Education: Two‐year Associates Degree in a civil, survey or related discipline

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Certification/Licensed Septic Designer in New Hampshire;
  • Five plus years design and CAD experience;
  • Ability to schedule workload efficiently; and
  • AutoCAD Civil 3d Capabilities
