GSOWA would like to share the following “news” from the Subsurface Systems Bureau at NHDES

Designer and Installer Permit Renewals Are Changing!

  • Starting this fall, you will be able to renew your designer and/or installer permit online!
  • The Bureau will be contacting you by email so make sure that your email and contact information is up to date in ePermitting or by calling the Subsurface Bureau at 603-271-3501.
  • You will still have the option to renew your permit through the mail if you do not have access to a computer.
  • Mail in forms will be available on the website or available at the Concord NHDES building.  These forms will not be mailed to you.
  • Watch your email for future updates or on the Septic Systems website located at https://www.des.nh.gov/land/septic-systems. Click on “Designer and installer permit renewal” to be directed to the License Renewal page.

Green and yellow postcards were mailed  out with the above information. This will be the last year that the reminders are mailed via USPS, so please make sure that your email address is updated or that you check the website for changes.

The information being collected on the renewal forms will have 2 categories.

  • Personal Information, such as a cell phone that will allow the inspection or review staff to contact you. This will also allow your personal address to be used, if we need to contact you by mail. This information is not given to the public.
  • Business Information: This will be displayed as your work information and be visible on Onestop and the Approvals.
